From selling rocks to opening a business in his parents’ garage to becoming the youngest Dish Network dealer, it was clear that Kevin has always been an entrepreneur and a desire to create value for other people.
After deciding to leave the for-profit world, he discovered a new passion working as an executive for an organization that focuses on providing medical care, food, and legal aid among other services to help the under-served. From there, he joined Sojourners and launched a national network of diverse leaders with the goal of reducing poverty. The network grew to 900 members in the first year and eventually to 6,000 members across forty-nine states and eleven countries.
While working to make the world a better place, Kevin couldn’t shake his passion for personal finance, investing, real estate, and helping people find the freedom to live their life with purpose. When his father died entirely too young, he went to help his mother find an advisor to sort out her finances. Instead of a helping hand, he found an industry of financial advisors dominated by glorified salespeople working on commission — pushing products that were not in his mother’s best interest.
Disappointed with the options, Kevin took matters into his own hands and launched a wealth management firm dedicated to retirement planning to allow more people to retire without worry.
